The Bachelor Matt James Breaks Silence on Chris Harrison Controversy: Troubling and Painful

James, the first Black star of “The Bachelor,” is not just calling out Harrison for his “troubling and painful” words, but is also holding the overall franchise accountable for its handling of diversity and race over the two decades it has been on-air.

“The past few weeks have been some of the most challenging of my life, and while there are several episodes left of the season, it is important that I take the time to address the troubling information that has come to light since we wrapped filming,” James wrote on his Instagram on Monday, hours before a new episode of “The Bachelor” is set to air on ABC.
I havent thought about that question uhhh uhhhhhhh I just havent thought about that question, Garland reluctantly replied. I think the uh, the uh, president has, uh, made clear that we are a country of uh with borders and uh a concern about national security. Um, I dont know of proposal to uh decriminalize, but um, still make it unlawful to uh, enter.
Garland continued to assert that he does not know the answer to the question and hasnt thought about it.
Hawley went on to ask if he will continue to prosecute unlawful border crossings.

She passed the co-hosting baton of her radio show to Hilary Barry three weeks earlier. The Seven Sharp host has been filling in McGoldrick on the 3pm Pick-Up show.
McGoldrick joined Barry on the phone to announce the arrival of her son Theodore James Guptill, Teddy for short.

Black and Hispanic home buyers are more frequently denied mortgages than white buyers even when their financial pictures are similar, according to a realtor.com® analysis of 2019 mortgage data. When they are able to secure mortgages, Black and Hispanic borrowers are more likely to pay higher fees and interest rates on their loans than white and Asian borrowers.
